LGG6 at OSHEAGA Music & Arts Festival

With the challenges of a low budget and LG having never activated at Osheaga, we needed to educate our client on how BIG brands go at this popular music and arts festival while at the same time giving them a stand-out space that’s inspired by the new LGG6 phone.

We gave LG a space that stood distinctly apart from other activations and gave festivalgoers the opportunity to be creative and shine with unique, sharable moments only available through LG.

Most brands at Osheaga use bright and bold colours. Since we wanted to stand out as much as the LGG6 does, we designed a space that was inspired by the G6 with an Art Deco flare. Sleek metallics in black, platinum, gold, and rose gold would give us the edge on standing out as well as nodding back to the colours that the phones come in. Our Art Deco and Boho style space gave festival goers opportunities to be creative with unique sharable moments inspired by the G6. Moments like creating a #Twofie with a friend against our metallic patterned backdrops, having fun with an airbrush artist who stenciled metallic designs inspired by the G6 on them, taking wide angle photos of the festival grounds and stages from our second floor, and using metallic washable markers on our second floor plexi wall that also gave an unobstructed view of the grounds. BAs along the way educated festival goers about the G6.

Our space was a hit with long line ups and many sharable social moments.

LGG6 Launch Party in Toronto

We created a memorable event for the Canadian launch of the new LGG6 smartphone with multiple touchpoints and interactions all revolving around discovering more with the phone. With so many sharable moments of discovery, we ended up trending #3 IN CANADA and #1 in TORONTO on social. And ended the night with a special, surprise concert by Dragonette.
