Nissan Car Care Event
The winter months are traditionally when Nissan dealerships experience a lower volume of service traffic. To combat this, we needed to change customer behaviour and provide them with a reason to engage with the Nissan brand and return to their Nissan dealership during this time. We did this by creating an event, The Nissan Car Care Event. The event creates excitement and engagement amongst customers and they’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of a complimentary multi-point inspection plus special maintenance offers. In addition to the available offers, customers can also register online for their chance to win one of three Maintenance For Life grand prizes and participate in the weekly Twitter hashtag contest for a chance to win weekly prizes of $50 Esso Gas Cards.
We engaged Nissan drivers in a multi platform campaign that consisted of direct mail, emails, social media, POP, and a responsive microsite.
The look/feel and over all tone of the campaign revolved around “the doctor is in” mindset with Nissan technicians being experts in servicing Nissan vehicles, and therefore, the best choice for service. We achieved this by keeping a clean look and feel, accessorizing a technician in a confident stance with hints of doctor equipment, and connecting our messaging to the brand and this concept.
