OLG Hit or Miss Target Blast Game

We were asked to create an experiential campaign to support the launch of OLG’s newest product, Hit or Miss! In this initiative, our goals were to drive trial of the new game through free play vouchers, drive awareness of the new game, and educate the target on this new game through key messaging.

Now, this game works a little different then the usual. You choose 12 out of 24 numbers that are then matched against drawn numbers; you can win if you match or even if you don’t. Neat huh? Another new & innovative feature if that through the OLG app, you can watch the draws that happen every 5 minutes to see in real-time if you won.

We came up with a fun way that plays off of the real game-play of hitting or missing through both a nostalgic and innovative approach. Nerf Guns and a digital touch sensitive screen!  

How it works:

  1. Each player gets 12 foam darts
  2. They have 20 seconds to shoot them at 24 numbered targets
  3. A random number generator will ‘draw’ 12 of the numbers
  4. An Ambassador will tally their hits and misses, and reward them with vouchers and prizing either way
  5. They redeem their voucher at our OLG Lotto Kiosk to play the real game and watch the live draws on a TV in our space

Our vibrantly coloured space stood out and was a real HIT!
